New Heritage Collection

Lookbook

This collection is a study in detail, that specifically of hand stitching and quilting. My grandmother was a quilter, one that prided herself on the smallness of her stitches and the inherent need to keep her hands moving. My family is cut from the cloth of southern farmers; my grandparents grew up picking cotton in Florence, AL, a place with a quiet history of quilters that grew from a need to survive and the need for expression. In an effort to keep this tradition alive, I have created a collection imbued with this heritage and a desire to learn through slow design and the details that characterize its beauty. I have incorporated hand sewing with digital printing to create a woman that straddles the past and present with effortless elegance and the free spirit of a modern woman.
